Rottweiler
The Rottweiler is a large-sized domestic dog breed that originated in Germany, known as Rottweiler Metzgerhund, or "butcher's dog," referring to the breed's former career in herding livestock and carting meat by pulling carts. This breed is quite common across many regions, especially in Europe and North America, where it serves both as an endearing family pet and a working dog. Rottweiler's obedient and confident nature makes it very protective of its family. The breed is slightly aloof and reserved towards strangers but is friendly and affectionate with the family children. They require firm obedience training and must be well socialized to develop into a well-rounded pet.
