Today we’re covering another one of the fan-favorite parks of Delhi NCR- Aravali Biodiversity Park in Gurgaon
Aravali Biodiversity Park is situated in the heart of Gurgaon, near the Delhi-Gurgaon border. The main entrance is accessible via MG Road, making it convenient for residents of both Delhi and Gurgaon to visit the beautiful, lush green trails. Established in the early 1990s by the Gurgaon Metropolitan Development Authority, this park, over 600 acres has become a sanctuary for a diverse range of flora and fauna, including over 300 species of birds.

The sunset point additionally gives you a 360-degree view of the forest and city area which is a sight worth watching.
- Offbeat Trails: For those seeking a more adventurous experience, the park offers offbeat trails that lead you through lesser-explored areas, providing a sense of discovery and solitude with your canine companion. It’s all about tapping the explorer inside you!
- Bird sightings: Keep your eyes peeled for the park's resident birds (especially the peacocks), as these majestic birds can often be spotted strutting around or perching on branches, adding a touch of whimsy to your outdoor adventure.
- Meet other dog parents: This park is a beautiful place to plan walking dog dates and also meet fellow dog parents. - Adhering to the timing restrictions for on-leash dogs- 8 am to 5 pm
- Off-leash dogs are neither permitted nor suggested
Pro tips and precautions
- Visit early morning or evening for pleasant weather and fewer crowds
- Weekday walks = fewer crowds
- You can take a long leash to give your dog more freedom to explore the on-leash gardens
- Be cautious of stray dogs and maintain a safe distance (and there are many on the way)
