We took our kitten to this hospital 11 days before she passed away. From day one, she had fluid in her abdomen, but despite this warning sign, no proper investigation or urgent action was taken. For the next 10 days, she was mainly given IV fluids and supportive treatment while her condition continued to worsen. Only when she became critically ill were tests finally performed, and we were informed that she likely had FIP. We arranged the antiviral medication immediately and started treatment within hours. Unfortunately, shortly afterward, she developed severe breathing difficulties and collapsed. We rushed her back to the hospital, but despite her condition and obvious changes in her behavior, we were repeatedly told that she was fine. It was clear to us that she was not normal and was struggling, but our concerns were not taken seriously. We are grateful to the owner, who was kind and helped arrange blood for our kitten’s blood transfusion. However, our experience with the veterinary team was very disappointing. We feel that the warning signs were overlooked, valuable time was lost, and we were repeatedly reassured that everything was fine when it clearly was not. What concerns us even more is that, to our knowledge, the team had previously handled at least five similar FIP cases, and unfortunately none of those kittens survived. Given this prior experience, we expected a much faster diagnosis, greater urgency, and more proactive treatment for our kitten. This review reflects our personal experience and the concerns we have regarding the care our kitten received

Both my male dogs (Greatdane and indie) got neutered under Dr. Lohit's supervision. But the problem is aftercare service. So I booked two in patients rooms for my pups, with two attendent for 24*7 care. Daily charges was 1000 / room for 5 days. Post surgery I was there with them under the impact of anesthesia my Greatdane Zeus was keep crying for me. I was there till 11 pm. Then in the morning they sent me a photo that they locked my boy in a cage as he was keep trying to go out of the room even though I paid for attendant. I was honestly furious and rushed there around morning 7 am to challenge them. The junior doctors are totally irresponsible, so keep an eye on your baby if you ever think to keep them there. Rest all days I was there whole day so they didn't dare to bother my babies. Both dog's sterilization costs me around 80K (according to body weight) and with meds and aftercare it's almost 1.30 Lakh.

I had once given a high rating to this hospital and the doctors, but have changed my opinion after a recent traumatic experience. We have been taking our pet to this hospital since the past few years. While Dr Lohith and the other junior doctors were good and caring during early years, now this hospital is nothing but an unscrupulous money making engine with incompetent doctors. I will not recommend this hospital for an emergency or serious ailment. The 'doctors' or quacks at night time (night duty) have zero competence and no knowledge about medicine. Due to their carelessness and wrong treatment, our pet is suffering. The doctor who treated him seemed clueless about what he's doing. If you love your pet, never take them there other than for minor issues. The staff are untrained and lack knowledge. I am sure if there's an audit conducted by the concerend government agency, many of the staff may not even have a proper medical degree. Shame on these people!

I am sharing this so other pet parents can protect their families. We went to see Dr. Lohit with a concern of pea sized, small nodule on my 11 year old female cat’s abdomen and we were directly pushed for a radical mastectomy combined with a spaying surgery without proper diagnosis, or tests. Since then, my family went through an immense emotional toll, living in constant terror and anxiety over this aggressive diagnosis. When I asked basic questions about diagnose tests ( X-Ray and Ultrasound), pre-operative safety protocols, anesthesia risks for a senior cat, and post-operation care, my concerns were completely ignored, dismissed and communication stopped at a point by his side. ( gladly did! ) Before committing to such an invasive procedure, I sought other opinions at different hospitals and vets. Through a simple physical examination, a 3-view chest X-ray, and a full abdominal ultrasound, it was scientifically proven that the lump was entirely superficial and during this diagnosing time the pea sized lump has already vanished completely. Her internal organs and mammary chains are healthy according to the tests we have given. If we didn’t struggle to take the best decision for our child, Dr. Lohit was ready to perform a massive, highly invasive, and completely unnecessary surgery on a senior cat without running basic diagnostics first, causing us months of needless heartbreak. Please demand full pre-op imaging and necessary tests elsewhere before trusting surgical recommendations here since they don’t have hesitation to put healthy pets under massive operations. Furthermore, Dr. Lohit prescribed an unlabelled, under-the-counter sugar pills derived from Conium maculatum (known as Poison Hemlock) before running tests to check my child’s baseline liver functions. In its raw biological form, Conium contains lethal alkaloids that can cause acute toxicity, respiratory failure, and severe oxidative stress to a pet's liver and kidneys. As a botanist, I know the severe danger of this plant. I know that even in highly diluted pill forms, the preparation involves spraying sugar spheres with a concentrated plant tincture. Compounding this danger, the pills came in non-standardized bottling with absolutely no proper labelling or chemical tracking. As a parent, it is impossible to verify the hygiene conditions under which these were prepared or the exact concentration of the compound. Introducing an unlabelled substance derived from a toxic, alkaloid-heavy plant to an 11-year-old animal is a reckless, unscientific gamble. If I had blindly trusted this prescription, my child could have suffered irreversible liver damage. Do not let the word 'natural' or 'homeopathic' fool you. Research before you make any decisions and demand full blood panels before letting anyone prescribe these remedies to your pets.

We brought our 2 month old Maltese to this hospital and she was diagnosed with Parvo and later tick fever as well. Dr. Lohith, Dr. Razak, Dr. Vaani, Dr. Gnan, and Dr. Sagar all looked after her case and ensured she got all the right medications and treatment. They ensured us throughout the treatment that they will save her and do everything that is needed. They let us stay for as long as we wanted after the IV treatment just in case of any emergency. The nursing staff especially Reema maintained hygiene and took good care of her during the treatment. Now, she is doing well thanks to them. The only drawback is they don't use gloves while treating multiple dogs. Still, I would highly recommend taking your pets to Bangalore Pet Hospital for all vaccinations and medical treatments.
