Every visit felt reassuring. My cat had dental complications and had to undergo a major surgery, right from the first consultation visit I felt like she was in good hands. Everyone from the reception to the assistant doctors and especially Dr. Kiran and Dr. Satish are patient and empathetic and great at what they do. What I loved most about the approach is that they empower the pet parent to take care of their babies better.

Its common knowledge that finding a genuine vet who actually cares and treats correctly is like finding a needle in a haystack. So when our go-to vet was unavailable and he recommended Central vets, the only question we asked was would you trust them with your pet. So, I got my beagle Oshie to them for a suspected case of pyometra. Dr Patil did the USG and immediately confirmed the diagnosis. Oshie was rushed to surgery the next morning and hysterectomy was performed. It was a complicated surgery but under the skilled hands of dr Patil, Oshie came out unscathed. But unfortunately, the worst was yet to come. The next day she started showing unusual symptoms and upon rushing her to Dr patil, he confirmed that the toxins had spread in her blood stream resulting in Septecemia, an almost-always fatal disease. Dr Patil and Dr Shelar lost no time in getting her into an aggressive line of treatment and for the most critical 48 hours, they made sure that Oshie got nothing but their full attention. Once our vet was back then we took her for further treatment, but even then, they kept a track of how she was doing and kept checking up. In my all the years of having pets, i saw this empathy at a vet for the second time. (first being our go-to vet) About the clinic: The clinic is very modern, well equipped and managed by an efficient team of ladies who i found quite pleasant to deal with. Even the young assistants were so caring and patient. They were all animal lovers and put each pet patient and their parents at ease. The two doctors, Dr Patil and dr Shelar, are god-send. I will recommend Central Vets in a heart-beat. My Oshie is back with me and that is all due to their efforts. God bless you worthy doctors and the entire team at Central Vets. Thank you from the bottom of our heart! Love. Oshie, Mome and Rishi Basu

I am giving one star only because the review cannot be posted without selecting a star; otherwise, this vet does not deserve even a single star. Our beloved pet cat passed away due to prolonged treatment at this clinic where proper and timely medical care was not provided. Worst experience overall. My cat had a pus-filled wound on the stomach area, yet for almost an entire month no medicines or ointments were prescribed. During every dressing, the vet used only saline and did not apply even basic antiseptic solutions or any healing ointment. We repeatedly requested medication to control the pus and infection, but nothing was given for a month. After repeated insistence, the doctor after a month finally prescribed medicines for pus prevention and a wound-healing spray, but by then the damage had already been done. We also asked whether any skin tests were required, as the wound was not healing and my cat had experienced a similar wound in the same area about a year earlier. The doctor denied the need for any tests and stated that none were required. Despite this, the doctor continued giving injections on every visit and instructed us to administer them twice daily for an entire month. We clearly informed the vet that continuous bandaging was causing our cat severe discomfort and difficulty in urinating and passing stool. Our concerns were ignored, and the same bandaging was continued at every visit. Instead of improving, the wound worsened drastically and became almost four times larger. During dressing, we witnessed the originally small wound enlarged and develop a deep internal hole, which was extremely distressing as pet owners. We also raised concerns about breathing issues, but no tests or treatment were provided for this either. On one visit, we waited over an hour for the doctor while he was busy discussing charges for another patient with the another doctor. We clearly observed him indicating by hand signs whether to charge ₹9,000 or ₹10,000, after which ₹10,000 was decided. This gave us a strong impression that financial matters were being prioritized over patient care. We expected timely diagnosis, proper wound management, transparency in treatment, and genuine concern for our pet’s health. Unfortunately, none of this was provided. We are deeply disappointed and would not recommend this vet based on our experience. If you love your pet, please do not go here. Do not trust this vet.
