  Doctor was very kind and helpful. The consultation was explained clearly, and I felt comfortable during the visit. Thank you for the good care and guidance.

  I have a 13-year-old female cat. We felt something in her stomach, so we called Dr. Dahekar for a home visit. He did not come at the time he had given us, and even after that we had to remind him. He then said she had a tumor and needed an operation without doing any proper check-up. I specifically asked him how he could suggest an operation without blood tests or a scan, and he said it was an emergency. We trusted him and agreed. He personally assured us that the tumor would not come back. After the operation, he gave us no proper aftercare instructions or follow-up. We had to repeatedly call and ask him what to do. Despite charging us a very high amount, he did not provide proper support. His clinic is also extremely unhygienic. After only 2 months, the tumor came back. I called him, and he denied ever giving any commitment that the tumor would not return. I still let that go and asked him what treatment or cure we could do now. He said he was busy and would call later, but he never called back and stopped answering our calls. We then consulted another doctor, who told us that considering my cat’s age, the need for surgery should have been properly evaluated. He also said that no responsible doctor would operate without blood tests and scans and that senior cats may need to be managed with medicines depending on their condition. In my personal experience, Dr. Dahekar was extremely irresponsible and unprofessional. I strongly feel that he prescribed treatments and medicines without proper knowledge and only to charge us money. If you love your pets, PLEASE do not visit this doctor. I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before trusting him with your pet.

  I neutered my cat by him. He does really great job. My cat had feel not pain after recovery.
