I visited this clinic because my cat was experiencing loose stools. While the consultation addressed the medical issue, I was disappointed with the way I was spoken to. When the vet learned that my cat’s vaccinations had been done at an animal population control centre rather than at his clinic, he became visibly upset and questioned that decision. Although I had already had my cat’s deworming schedule verified by him, the conversation turned into a lecture about how my pet is “like my child,” with assumptions made about my level of care and responsibility. As a pet owner, I understand the importance of proper medical care and appreciate guidance. However, I believe advice should be given respectfully and without making assumptions about a client’s intentions or commitment. I left feeling judged rather than supported. I hope future interactions focus more on educating pet owners with empathy and professionalism. Seems like my baby is gonna see a new friendly vet.
