One of the best veterinary experiences I’ve had! Lakeside Veterinary Hospital and Research Center is well-equipped and very clean. Dr. Yethiraj sir is incredibly skilled and compassionate. He explains the diagnosis and treatment in a very clear and reassuring way. You can trust him completely with your pet’s health.
Our dog was very poorly and despite multiple attempts flagging that he wasn’t getting better. The vets here were negligent and did not suggest further testing or alternative treatment. They lacked empathy and provided a poor quality of care. They diagnosed him with tick fever without the essential PCR test. We had to get a second opinion and frankly they were shocked that basic testing and investigations weren’t done. By the time we got our dog to a vet that cared enough to do something, our dog was too poorly and unfortunately passed away. If we could give less than one star we would. I will not be recommending or ever taking any other pet here again.
We first came in on February 27th for a checkup for our two kittens, their mom had gone missing and we were completely new to this. That visit was fine. A week later, both kittens started vomiting and we went back. They had fever, so got injections, and the next day, they were recommended IV drips for dehydration. The IV was given by laying them on their sides and inserting the needle directly into the abdomen, no cannula. I've since learned that's not how it's supposed to be done. On top of that, nothing was documented, no record of what injection was given, how much IV fluid, nothing. The staff would handle them roughly and say "cats are not like dogs", we understand that cats are different than dogs, but speaking to them gently costs nothing. I asked the doctor the same question a couple of times because this was all new to me and wanted to be sure. He answered it once and was not really happy when I asked questions again and again. I cannot recommend this clinic.
I am writing this to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the conduct and treatment provided by Yathiraj in handling of my pug’s condition was highly negligent, as there was a clear failure to accurately diagnose the issue and administer appropriate treatment, which put my pet’s life at great risk. Further, Yathiraj’s behaviour was extremely unprofessional and disgusting. He displayed an arrogant and dismissive attitude, and I have personally witnessed him engaging in fights with multiple patients all the time . Such conduct and behaviour is not acceptable when it comes to medical practitioner. This level of carelessness and lack of accountability raises serious questions about his competence and fitness to practice. PEOPLE PLEASE THINK AGAIN BEFORE GETTING YOUR PET CONSULTED!
The veterinary service is good and the vet is professional and caring. But the grooming service was completely unacceptable. We were not allowed to be present during the grooming session and our pet’s ear was cut during grooming. No one informed us about the injury and we only discovered it after we had already left. We tried calling multiple times but got no response. This is extremely irresponsible and unprofessional. Pet owners deserve transparency, honesty and proper care for their animals. Very disappointed.
