I’m really very very disappointed with the grooming that my dog just had now. 1. They said the medicated bath grooming would cost INR 950/- which included bathing, brushing, teeth cleaning and deshedding. Because this was substantially cheaper than other places I decided to try it out. Also because of convenience as my dog’s Vet also has recently shifted to within this shop. 2. After the bath of around 45 minutes they brought my dog up and he clearly wasn’t dried up fully, his body was full of wet patches. I thought it must just be the inexperience of the groomer and let it go. 3. When I came to the billing part, I was asked to pay INR 2,050/- because they were giving me the shampoo in which my dog was groomed. This has never been the case with any medicated bath before for me. I said I didn’t want it but they insisted that the doctor has instructed the shampoo to be given to me. A FULL 1100/- more without even asking/telling me of this additional expense. They just assumed I would be okay with it because they were giving me the shampoo bottle that I’d not even asked for. 4. Then while bringing him back home I see he’s not been deshed-ed properly at all and whole bundles of his wet fur were sticking all over my clothes and the vehicle. I came back home and rubbed my hands all over his fur to get another load of his wet fur. With so much inexperience, wet fur and proper deshedding I was made to pay 2050 rupees. When I retorted they asked me to bring the shampoo next time I get him to groom so that they can charge only 950/-! Honestly felt very very cheated and disappointed. You might as well go to a professional more experienced groomer who charges around 1.6k upfront and doesn’t have hidden agendas of shoving the shampoo bottle unasked into your hand and charging more than twice for a half done job.
